Role Summary

We are looking for a Backend Developer Intern to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate can independently build and maintain backend services, integrate third-party APIs, and collaborate within a team.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain RESTful API endpoints
Integrate third-party APIs and handle webhook-based event flows
Write server-side logic in Node.js or Python
Manage and query SQL and NoSQL databases
Work within a Docker-based development environment
Test and validate APIs, and ensure clean integration with the frontend

What We're Looking For

Backend: Node.js or Python — build and maintain server applications
REST APIs: API design, JWT/OAuth authentication, and error handling
Webhooks: Integrate and process third-party webhook events
API Testing: Postman (or equivalent) and basic frontend-based API validation
Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis fundamentals
Docker: Work within existing Docker and Docker Compose environments
Git: Branching, pull requests, and team workflows

Preferred Qualifications

Rapid Learning: Quickly learn new technologies and implement integrations independently
Bash: Basic scripting for automation and task scheduling
GitHub Actions: CI/CD workflow fundamentals
AI Coding Tools: Effective use of Claude Code, Codex, and similar agentic tools
Education: Pursuing a BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (2nd–3rd year students preferred)
